The official fees for trade mark related matters have been significantly increased in Bahrain.  The Ministry of Industry & Commerce in Bahrain issued a Ministerial Decree No. 65 for the year 2016 approving the Implementing Regulations of the Unified GCC Trademark Law No. 6 for the year 2014.

The increased official fees are effective as of 29 May 2016, and will be applicable for both new trade mark applications and pending applications.  The greater official fees will also be applicable for international registrations filed through the Madrid Protocol.
