Sonia is and admitted Attorney and qualified Trade Mark Lawyer, with a master’s degree in Intellectual Property and Information Society Law. Sonia joined CWB’s Dubai office as an associate in 2022. Prior to joining CWB, Sonia had worked in both hemispheres and gained extensive experience it the Intellectual Property field by working both in private practice for reputed international law firms, and as an in-house legal counsel at a well-known multinational.

Sonia has broad Intellectual Property knowledge and has consistently assisted leading clients in contentious and non-contentious matters, creating complex strategies for their portfolio expansion and protection. Sonia leads negotiations, advises clients in the protection, enforcement and commercialization of their Intellectual Property rights – including commercial, domain name and copyright matters, and assists them throughout the whole process: from brand conception and protection to the exploitation and enforcement of such Intellectual Property rights.
