Prior to joining CWB in 2011, Firas worked with a regional IP firm for 12 years where he gained an in-depth knowledge and understanding of IP laws and practices throughout the Middle East and North Africa region. Firas assisted with the opening of CWB’s offices in Amman in 2011 and Riyadh in 2014. Firas is the General Manager of our Amman office where he has a special interest in building relationships with the local authorities via conducting training workshops and attending conferences relating to all aspects of intellectual property.

Firas has many years of experience relating to trade mark contentious and non-contentious matters including commercial, domain name and copyright matters. His main areas of expertise include oppositions, cancellation actions, devising infringement and enforcement strategies, brand clearance advice and trade mark filing strategies.
