Under a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Ministry of Justice, the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) launched a new conciliation service for IP disputes on September 5, 2023. The dispute resolution service can be accessed via the Taradhi platform.

Online submissions currently do not incur official fees. Specialists accredited by SAIP will, on our understanding, consider matters extending to trade marks, copyright, patents and industrial designs, with relatively short time frames for the issuance of decisions.

SAIP continues to improve IP dispute resolution in Saudi Arabia, to align with international best practices.
